ZYDA LAW APPOINTED ON NEW NUCLEAR INSTRUCTION FROM BRITISH ENERGY

EXTENSION TO NUCLEAR POWER STATION

Zyda Law LLP's reputation as a leading energy practice has been further enhanced by its appointment by British Energy (part of EDF Energy – the largest energy company in the world) to assist with the achievement of consent and planning permission pursuant to the Electricity Act 1989 for an extension to an existing nuclear power station.

The proposed works are necessary to ensure the continuation of operations at one of the client's sites in England.

Our work on the application and environmental materials has been warmly received by the client and will form the basis for future planning work – a resounding endorsement of Zyda Law's unrivalled expertise in the nuclear sector.
